This one acre waterfront cottage is located on the southerly shore of Royal Muskoka Island (accessible by car) on Lake Rosseau, one of the three most preferred lakes in Muskoka. The lot is heavily treed and has 440 feet of southwest facing shoreline, ensuring ample privacy.The property is ideal for young children because of its sandy beach and flat terrain between the lake and cottage. For teenagers and adults there is plenty of deep water for swimming and water-skiing. Two boathouses - one a double slip with rooftop sun deck and the other a single slip - provide plenty of room for boat mooring, diving and sunbathing.The 1500 square foot bungalow has 3 bedrooms (sleeps 6) and one and a half bathrooms. The master bedroom, living room and dining area have beautiful lake views. A 15 x 14 foot cottage deck off the dining room is an excellent vantage point to enjoy Lake Rosseau's beautiful sunsets.

The new J.W.Marriott's Red Leaves Resort, only 5 minutes away, offers fine dining and full spa services. In nearby Port Sandfield there is a grocery store and bakery. This quaint port is a lovely spot to enjoy an ice cream cone and watch boats pass between Lake Rosseau and Lake Joseph from the swing bridge or marina docks. In the bustling tourist town of Port Carling you will find a grocery store, resaurants, shops, theatre, library, full service marina and more.For golfers, the cottage is within 15 minutes of two world-class courses, The Lake Joseph Club (Club Link) and The Rock, Nick Faldo's first Canadian signature course. Tennis courts may be booked at the nearby historic Cleveland's House.
