Property DetailsAbsolutely fantastic boating, swimming, unbeatable fishing, with hundreds of miles of atv-ing, snowmobiling and hiking at your doorstep. Situated on Dunlop Lake, the lake is clean and clear and approximately 10 miles long, with primarily a rocky, evergreen shoreline. Northern exposure on Sunrise Bay. Brand new 1700 sq ft, 3 bedroom, story and a half, Ontario Farmhouse style cottage with dormers and every possible amentity! Knotty pine walls, pine floors and ceilings. Lots of windows. Two huge porches - one upstairs that is completely screened in from pesky bugs, one downstairs partially closed in with safety glass to help cut the wind. Both with terrific views of the lake. Eight person salt sanitized hot tub. Can you say, “Whoooo Hoooo!” Comfortably sleeps 6 - 1 King bed, 1 Double, and 2 single beds. All linens, towels and bedding supplied. You are welcome to use any kitchen or household items, provided you replace them before you leave. Maximum occupancy is 6. A cook’s dream kitchen with a stainless slide in gas range, huge refrigerator, bbq, full washer and dryer. Eat in kitchen nook in a sunny bay window, or dine alfresco out on the deck. Two full bathrooms - one upstairs with a stone and glass shower and one downstairs with full tub/shower. Full septic system and UV water system. The tap water is completely safe to drink. Large living room with big flat screen tv, video/dvd pla Well behaved and controlled pets are welcome, although we reserve the right to limit the size and number of pets. Sorry no motorized vehicles are available but you are welcome to bring your own. Plenty of docking and two public boat launches nearby. Rocky shoreline with a quick drop off which is great for swimmers who don’t like to “touch bottom.” Drive to access. Our lot is fairly steep, so it might not be suitable for very small children, the frail or elderly. Unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, we do not recommend that you drive down the driveway as you might not be able get back out if conditions are wet and slippery. Park at the top of the drive and it’s just a short walk to the back door of the cottage. We have terrific neighbours who can assist in the event that there a problem, but the cottages are far enough away for privacy. We ask that renters leave the cottage in the same condition as you found it - clean, with linens and dishes washed and beds made up. Any damage is the full responsibility of the renter. More Info

We are on a septic system so please do not flush anything other than toilet paper as the septic system cannot handle it. Well behaved and controlled pets are welcome, although we reserve the right to limit the size and number of pets. Our lot is fairly steep, so it might not be suitable for very small children, the disabled, frail or elderly. Unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, we do not recommend that you drive down the driveway as you might not be able get back out if conditions are wet and slippery.
